Since 1987, our music school in the West Island offers personalized violin lessons to those who want to learn the technique and further understand this beautiful instrument. Learning to play the violin requires discipline, concentration, and dexterity. The minimal age to start is 4 years old.

Through our private violin lessons, you will learn essential skills such as:

• Solfège (pitch and sight reading)
• Scales and arpeggios
• Theory
• Interpretation
• Improvisation
• Harmony

Our experienced teachers, all university graduates, will put their expertise at your service through private violin lessons. You will be able to learn to play the violin at your own pace and according to your level (beginner, intermediate, or advanced).

At the Quebec Music School, students have the chance to take part in activities in addition to violin lessons. These include year-end concerts, recitals, competitions, scholarships, and more.

Quebec Music School has been affiliated with the Royal Conservatory of Music for many years now. Knowing the curriculum in and out, we will prepare students for the uniform examinations of the Royal Conservatory of Music.
